Deary Days
Every year on the first weekend in August Deary celebrates Deary Days, and whenever we can we try to head out. There is usually a fun band playing on Saturday night and they shut down the street for a street dance. Of course, this year we didn't go to that, since we had to get Alma home and to bed. We did, however, enjoy hot dogs in the park while listening to some fun music. We also went to the school and watched some of Dan's cousins play in the volleyball tournament. Alma got to visit her great grandma and grandpa, her grandma and grandpa, Dan's Godmother Carlene, and she got to meet several second cousins that she has never met before. All in all, it was a very pleasant (albeit hot) afternoon.
